Conundrum is a Montreal-based independent magazine for magicians by the husband-and-wife team of Marc Trudel and Sophie-Anne Vachon. Conundrum aims to highlight the best magic, showcase magicians we admire and give back to the magic community.
The magazine is completely ad-free and printed in Canada on really high quality paper. It almost feels like a book. Its pages are filled with interviews, profiles, tricks, discoveries and creative inspiration! We go in-depth and explore magic through a discerning eye. We also choose to focus on the good stuff. Let's celebrate what makes magic so great.

Sophie-Anne & Marc
Sophie-Anne is an illustrator, graphic designer and art director who has been working with magicians for 15 years. Marc is a two-time Canadian Magic Champion and has been a professional magician for the past 20 years. Together, they have published more than a dozen kid’s books in French Canada and they tour year-round with a magic show.

The magazine is their way of giving back to the community. It’s a passion project that they have been dreaming about for years. They create all of the content including the write-ups for tricks, the illustrations, the interviews and the graphic design.

When is the next issue of Conundrum coming out?
Conundrum is built by Sophie-Anne and Marc. We are a two-person team and we work very hard. We only want to publish content we are really excited about. This means that release dates ebb and flow. Do not worry : the next issue is coming very soon.

Can I subscribe to Conundrum?
Because release dates aren't set, we do not offer subscriptions as of now.

I didn't get Issue 1 when it came out. Do you still carry it?
​Yes! We still carry issue 1 and will continue to carry all issues at all times.

How much is shipping?
